Front of House Theatre Company is made up of the talented members of staff from a certain large concrete building on London’s South Bank.
We specialise in new work written, directed, designed, produced, and performed by our members. Front of House Theatre Company was founded in 2014, showcasing this wealth of talent in our sell-out inaugural new writing showcase at The Vaults. Since then we have produced two sell-out show at The Vaults, Write Here, Write Now (2015) and Let The Write One In (2017); a new piece of immersive theatre, Stormy Seas and Starry Skies, in collaboration with the National Trust; five short films as part of the Shakespeare 400 celebrations, including Hark, Villains! which was shown as part of the London Short Film Festival; a family-friendly, modern retelling of A Christmas Carol; and performed a new, interactive production of Much Ado About Nothing at the Royal Shakespeare Company’s outdoor theatre in Stratford Upon Avon.
Most recently, we were commissioned by the Royal Air Force Museum to create a new work for the centenary celebrations of the Royal Air Force.
